I'm Andrea Wlodarczyk

This site is first and foremost a living document and space to capture all of my work. For that reason, it's dynamic and expected to undergo many iterations- like me!

For the project manager inside me, it's been a dream to build a website from scratch, create portfolios of the chapters of my life, and collect my offerings in one place. I love all things process-oriented so this feels like a natural next step.

For the last 17 years, I've been a dedicated art educator, working on both coasts. I adore teaching, learning, researching/writing about, and creating art with people, for people, and to people, of all ages. Visual art is a second language for me and one of my greatest joys is helping make it accessible to others.

Capturing the ephemeral moments between families, for mothers, and with children brings me deep joy. It's fair to say that I'm obsessed with taking pictures and photography marries many of my interests. Ensuring that mothers are in photos and not just behind the lens, getting out and about in beautiful San Diego, and helping freeze a moment in time, to be admired for years to come, are just a few reasons that photography has won me over.
